We enjoyed getting together at the first cooking class of 2016 Fall Term! It was so nice seeing our friends from last year, and making new friends at this session.First of all, we prepared meat loaf which was filled with potatoes, carrots, and peas. We cut the loaf by slices and served with mujaddara. Mujaddara is a middle eastern rice with lentil and garnished with caramelized onions. We prepared our rice with bulgur (cracked wheat) as healthy choice. Caramelized onion on top of the rice made a big difference in taste as well as appearance of our rice.
Finally, We prepared chocolate creamy pudding garnished with coconut and hazelnut. The aroma of lemon in the pudding made it remarkable. This dessert is very refreshing for summer, and it will be the favorite dessert for the little ones.
